EXPERIMENT CHALLENGE

Learning is the development of skills or knowledge through experience. The
key aspect being experience. The more diverse and varied your experiences,
the more you’ll learn about yourself and your partner. The alternative is
repeating the same experience to deepen your learning. In simple terms,
learning is life

Why this Challenge?

To challenge the assumptions you make about how to live “the good life”

How to

Each day for seven straight days, try something new. It can be a new experience, a new food, a new routine, a new phrase, a new reaction, anything…but it must be new. The goal is to experiment together, trying new and simple ways of living,
thinking, behaving, loving, and relating. Experiment widely over these seven days. The more creative and unique your experiments, the more you’ll learn about yourself and your partner. One of the best parts of the 7-Day Experiment Challenge, is that it
can challenge the way you see life and assumptions you make on a regular basis.

"It's the smallest adventures that lead to the greatest happiness."

About Learning

One of the most difficult realities to come to terms with is that your
relationship will change, in fact, you will change. When couples come
together, they are coming together at a specific point in time with
appreciation for specific characteristics, however, over time individuals
learn, grow, and change and therefore their relationship will grow and
change. Sometimes, you aren’t prepared to appreciate nor respect those
changes. The good news is that you can not only prepare for change, you
can come to appreciate and love meaningful change.
How is your relationship different now than it was when it began? What
are some benefits that come with these changes? What are some
challenges that come with these changes? How can you work together
to ensure that learning and growth (i.e. change) improves your life?
When you resist change in yourself, your partner, or your relationship, you
can create resentment. That’s why it’s important to communicate about
changes that are desired and that you see happening, this way, you better
understand the reasons behind them and create space for those changes
to happen in effective and valuable ways.
